The victory propelled her into the tournament to crown the first ever FWE womens champion. In the semi-finals of the tournament, she squared off against her best friend in Maria’s return to professional wrestling. Maria surprised everyone and upset Tara with a little help from outside interference from Winter, who felt Maria would be easier competition than Tara. Tara extracted a measure of revenge by returning the favor against Winter, enabling Winter to win the championship.
